在大熊湖看到的壁飾/Wall hanging quilts I saw in Big Bear Lake

A wall hanging quilt at Big Bear Lake Discovery Center 

最近到一個在海拔6，700 尺上的一個渡假地--大熊湖﹐看到上面兩張壁飾。第一張是用貼布縫方式來做的﹐是講述有關大熊湖的以往歷史。這是由一班在North Shore School 裹的同學在1976年做的。
另外一張是用拼接形式做成的壁飾﹐那熊的名字叫Smokey Bear﹐做的很可愛啊。

I gone for visit in Big Bear Lake at 6,700 feet high above the sea. The pictures above are the two quilts I saw. The first is an applique quilt in the Museum made by a group of students in North Shore School in year 1976. It tells about the history in Big Bear Lake.

The second one is a machine pieced wall hanging quilt in Discovery Center. The bear's name is Smokey Bear and he is really look so lovely.
