這是做來送給一位台灣網上好友牛牛的寶寶﹐ 她快要出生啦。 其實已經做了兩個多月﹐ 每天做一些﹐ 慢手慢腳的我﹐到現在才能完成。

被子是機縫的﹐ 到後來才決定用手壓線﹐ 所以時間就不好掌握了﹐ 還好都可以在寶寶出生以前完成。 這次是第一次用手壓這麼大的作品﹐ 還第一次用壓線框﹐ 原來也有很多地方要注意啊 ﹗ 這一次還特意選了心心的圖案用來做邊框的壓線﹐ 寓意寶寶日後可以被愛心包圍﹐ 還有在圖形上面的方格上﹐ 用了有趣的小熊掌印圖案來壓線的。

為了讓有一個紀錄﹐ 所以買了一張標簽﹐ 用布專用筆寫下了日期。 希望寶寶快高長大﹐ 活潑可愛 。

I have made this crib quilt for my nice Taiwan quilting friend Cowy's baby. It took me 2 months more to make it, little by little due to my slow progress so it had just finished recently.

This quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted at very late stage so I couldn't master the timing so well. But I finally made it before the baby is due. This is the first time I hand quilted this size of project and the first time I use quilting frame to do it. There are some points we need to pay attention in order to use frame to quilt. I have chosen hearts to hearts quilting design at the outer border which I wish baby can be wrapped with love in the future. On the square block of paw print I have used the cute bear paw print quilting design.

I have purchased a quilting label and wrote the date with a pen specially designed for fabric as a record. Wish the baby will grow up fast and be an lively and adorable one.
